We Support the Sustainable Development Goals

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (the 2030 Agenda) is a set of international development goals from 2016 to 2030, which was adopted by the UN Sustainable Development Summit held in September 2015 building on the success of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

The 2030 Agenda listed “Sustainable Development Goals” consisting of 17 goals and 169 targets in order to eradicate poverty and realize a sustainable world, and pledge “Leave no one behind” through the implementation process. The SDGs are universal goals applicable, not only to developing countries but also developed countries, Japan is also actively working on it.

We Support the Sustainable Development Goals

Commitment to achieving the SDGs

Through the development, manufacture and sale of laminate products, we will expand our domestic and overseas sales channels, respect the culture and customs of each country or region, and in partnership with people who have the same goal, we will broadly promote social development. We will also contribute to the achievement of the SDGs through our CSR initiatives.

Efforts for Recycling

* Currently only in Japan

Since 2020, we have been collecting and recycling the resin cores (ABS) used for Revo-Office / Revo-Any films for the purpose of “environmental protection and effective use of resources”. After collection, the products are recycled and shipped, and materials are reused.

Social Welfare Activities

“Children’s 110”

We participate in the “Children 110 (the number to dial police in Japan = children’s refuge)” activity at our two offices, the Osaka Headquarters and the Tokyo Branch.

Donation of “Randoseru” (School Bag)

Since 2001, we have donated school bags to welfare facilities in Osaka Prefecture (Total number: 2,830 donations as of March 2021).
In 2018, we celebrated our 20th anniversary of donating school bags, and held a donation ceremony inviting guests.


Reconstruction Support

As part of our reconstruction assistance, we have established a new logistics center in Shirakawa City, Fukushima Prefecture. Fukushima Prefecture has been severely damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred in 2011, and we are promoting the employment of victims.

Efforts for the Working Environment

We will formulate and steadily implement a general business owner action plan, in order to create an employment environment that makes it easier for employees to work in harmony with their work and life, and to increase work productivity as a result.

Partnership

Since January 2020, we have participated in the “Kansai SDGs Platform” and worked toward building a sustainable society in collaboration with participating organizations.

What is “Kansai SDGs Platform” ?

It is an organization established as a platform where various actors such as private companies in Kansai area, civil society, NPOs, NGOs, universities, research institutes, local governments, and government agencies participate, for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
